Márton Tönkő Szilágyi (1642-1700)
Protestant religious-writer. The very first Hungarian follower of Descartes. In his Church rhetoric Biga Pastoralis (1684) written in Latin, he analyses philosophical questions. Because of his Cartesian and Cocceian views, an accusation was made against him but he managed to clear his name.
